How old exactly is this French Rightback? I read earlier in the thread that he is actually 30.??

Perhaps Big Sam is just waiting to complete his other signings and Rozehnal will be introduced together with the other 5/6 next week. That will be awesome. 

He probably caught a glimpse of his mate's fiance. 

Barring any serious injury crisis to next season we should be able to hit top 7 minimum with the current squad (assuming we don't sell). Add depth and a couple of top signings hopefully with Ashley's money we can challenge Spurs for top 5. But what Big Sam said about changing the structure of the club, to look to the long term is something that has got me excited. 

 

We need to sort our defence before we can challenge for the top 5, at the very minimum we need a centre back and left back.

Hopefully Big Sam would have it sorted by the start of the season. I can't envisage ourselves starting with Babayaro and Ramage come August, not with Big Sam.

I voted for Steven Taylor as he's the most viable one among the current squad. But I do have my misgivings as he is still too young and inexperienced.

For free I'd imagine Tuncay would be a worthwhile signing.

Good signing, in my opinion. He could do very well in a 3 man central midfield. Off the field, i think he'll realise this is his last chance to have a professional football career.

 

Anyway, i guess this means Dyer is going to be axed...

Axed.. Hopefully not by Barton.

I wonder how he and Dyer would fit in!?

Would be great if this is true, if it happens though I hope he gives Big Sam a reasonable amount of time to set things right on the pitch.

If some of the articles (trying to retain Owen, interest in Barton, reigniting the Sidwell deal, signing Viduka on a free etc, etc) are true Big Sam has been a very, very busy man already even before he is appointed!
