BREAKING NEWS IN ICELAND: Alan Shearer is with Haraldsson and Jóhannesson in talks of buying the club. Talks are very far ahead and a bid is expected very soon. I'm pretty sure this is true, Iceland is a very small country and when something like this is reported it is almost always true. It's worth a mention that this news station was the first to report that Magnusson and co. were buying West Ham.

If it is a newspaper it's most likely on of those, those four are the only newspapers in Iceland that come out every day. I doubt it is Sport.is, the website you linked to, seeing as they get most of their football related stories from fotbolti.net, the biggest football website in Iceland. I think there is a good chance this guy is telling the truth. Iceland is a very small country and we don't have that many football journalists. Those we do have tend to have very good connections to players, agents etc.

I think it's a good possibility. Roeder seems to know this club, something Souness never did. In his post-match interviews he also speaks the truth, he dosen't blame injuries, luck or whatever. Roeder wasn't sure whether he should take the job in the first place, and now knows he isn't the right man for the job IMO. If we keep losing he'll resign rather than Shepherd firing him IMO.

Here in Iceland Newcastle have the fourth biggest supporters club, after Liverpool, Man Utd and Arsenal. Spurs and Chelsea are close behind though.
