Klopp has a deep squad full of top talent. Conditions are rarely non-optimal for Liverpool.
It also worked for Barcelona and it works for City etc. - both deep squads full of top talent.
Conditions are far less likely to be optimal for us, for at least a couple of years at least, so being pragmatic rather than stubborn makes more sense. When we have a squad full of world beaters, i'm all for 100% of plan A.
Burnley came up playing a certain style and they'll go down because of their slowness to adapt to the quality and rigours of the PL. The only way they'll stay up is if they adapt and find a different way to get results. We're not Burnley but we're also not Liverpool, we're somewhere between the two right now.
Burnpool ?

I'm absolutely gutted. I thought the game was on last night so had everything lined up to watch at home to myself, then had my wtf moment when it clicked why I couldn't find it on TV at start of game when reading this thread
I've agreed to go cinema to watch fucking Expendables 4 with my girlfriend and her dad for his birthday, which basically runs parallel to the game tonight.
I feel so stupid.
Just dump her. I'm sure she's lovely, but ...

Just watched some of the Toon Review youtube channel where even the normally quite level headed Alex has been talking about how bad they were in the Milan derby, and I think we just need to keep our feet on the ground. They are still a CL side with a pedigree playing at home, and they'll have a bunch of superstars representing.
Yes we can get a result, but we might just as easily find ourselves chasing shadows for much of the game. They aren't going to just give the ball to us because we run around a lot. We will have to bring our game to them and show some confidence on the ball.
yeah, they got to the Semi-Final last year ... be very happy with a draw

Make sure to go to Bergamo for your return.
Last time we gave some kidda a lift to the airport in our taxi, only on reaching the airport did he realise there's more than one airport and Bergamo is long way from Milan. 20yrs later I still wonder what happened to him
I'm still here ....

That Bellamy goal is one of my favourite ever. Nearly had tears in my eyes jumping round the sitting room as a 12 year old
one of mine too, and it directly lead to the Inter game which is one of my favourites to have seen live

I presume he means that our defence is stretched thin. Removing the chaff:
LB: Burn, Targett
LCB: Botman, Burn
RCB: Schar, Lascelles
RB: Trippier, Krafth
For me, Lascelles sticks out like a sore thumb. I can just about deal with Krafth or Targett playing, provided that our other defenders are available but when you start taking out 2 players, it becomes a bit chronic back there.
Let's imagine we had the luxury it signing 3 new defenders:
LB: Tierney, Targett
LCB: Botman, Burn
RCB: Schar, Andersen
RB: Trippier, Livramento
Now your talking.
You mean play Dummett in midfield? ?

Can't 'this person' have his own thread (which can then be avoided)
it can be titled 'Cunt'

in a few hours, it will be a week since the takeover was announced... could they mark that with another announcement and celebration?

Could they be waiting for the best time to give us another party atmosphere? Sunday morning, few hours before the Spurs game, give everyone a boost ...
