in hindsight, yes ... Wasn't last seasons Wissa (pre-injury) a good bet to immediately knock in the goals we were gonna miss with Isak gone? Wasn't (last season's) Elanga a good upgrade on Murphy? Wasn't Ramsey an upgrade on Longstaff ? yes, it turned out a shitstorm, and Nick W seemed a last minute panic buy - but I think it was deeply unfortunate in hindsight rather than totally inadvised. mind, I do still believe most of them will come good next year, so ... what do I know?
