  1. asked about him on a Serb footie forum

I've learned to judge players not only on their skill and physical tool set, but on their mental capability and in in Mitro's case, God bless him, there's not much there.

He is confident to the point where he becomes cocky and for his country puts up more of a fight, but he's also a guy who's lazy, gives up easily, argues a lot with opposition and team mates and generally comes off as someone who doesn't care that much.

I hope he can grow up eventually, but like I said, he's not the sharpest tool in the shed and will need the right guidance. Preferably from someone he can look up to, keep in mind, Balo is his role model

  2. got this from a Serb footie forum when asking about his characteristics etc

He's very lazy and you only really notice him in or around the opposition's box. Not many strikers left like him, a bit old school.

Physically a beast however, even if he's pretty slow. Can shoot, can head the ball, can pass his man closer to the box, but mostly he relies on service from others.

All the scouting sites have him listed as one of the world's top striking talents, but as a Serb I really don't see it. I see potential for a good poacher if he sorts himself out and takes a more active approach on the pitch, not much more.

  3. Would be a good appointment. Had coaching experience in Portugal and Spain and not backwards thinking like many other British coaches with dinosaur coaching methods. Shame more young coaches don't have the bottle or thinking to go abroad to learn like this guy has.

  4. Gascoigne - film about Gazza showing for one night only in cinemas around the country tomorrow with live question and answer session with Paul after. Tomorrow evening only! Check filmdates.co.uk for where it's on.

Villarreal defender Gabriel has been granted a work permit ahead of a proposed move to Arsenal. #afc

how the f*** has he been granted a work permit when he has 0 international appearances youth or senior.

    Living in Spain would've helped.

Not unless he had citizenship it wouldn't.

And then he wouldn't need a Work Permit.

No Spanish passport and zero caps for Brazil. I see the rules were bent again for the "big" clubs.
