Love that he´s analysing goal kicks and watching National League games. Always a legend.
-
Richarlison looks like Shelvey with hair.
-
Bruno´s body shape as he passes is immense.
-
love how Dubs plays it from the back.
-
And another clean sheet- Howe´s hard work and organisation is shining through. Wonderful stuff.

this is great

My first thought was Alli. But yeah, more likely Digne.

"In Ashley’s final two transfer windows, Newcastle signed nobody who was not called Joe Willock"

As someone over on the BBC news story commented...Football Management in this country is like watching Australian soaps.
The same handful of actors turning up time and again. -
Decent window, although slightly underwhelming last day. Replaced 3 quarters of our defence, got a genuine world class midfielder and Wood will get better as everyone becomes more familiar. Stay up and summer will be incredible.

this thread is like crack - just like the old takeover thread.

The most exciting thing for me is, if he turns out to be a massive success, we won´t be looking to sell him for a profit.

Doing a Kennedy sadly.

dust ourselves down

forgot we beat Norwich 3-0 preseason.

Charnley probably gave it to him on his way out.

If you take a look at the fans part of my 1977/78 review here http://nufc-history.co.uk/nufc-1977-78-season.html there is a small mention of when he set the NUSA up
Amazing website - really enjoyed reading the reviews of my first matches and seasons - great bonus with the videos of the old matches - trying to spot myself in the crowd.

Weird timing - hope they're not replacing him with Fat Sam.

I think the squad as it stands are probably absolutely craving and dying for some detail, organisation and semblance of a proper plan. Two years of "let's play" and getting slapped on the back and fired up before kickoff probably does that.
Shelvey disagrees

Be very happy with this. Far better than Uriah Rennie.

Worrying why?
I have no objection to him him being part of the new set up, but IMO any new manager should be able to choose his own assistant manager.
-
It's worrying IF he has been promised the job as assistant manager. Any decent new manager (possibly Martinez aside given their history) would want to bring in their own man.

Stumbled into the team pages on .cock, and what a shambles
Shelvey has no number and listed under "forwards": https://www.nufc.co.uk/teams/first-team/
And the graphic designer obviously has no idea how to do a cut out of a female with long hair, because all players on the women's team looked like a bunch of unkempt tramps https://www.nufc.co.uk/teams/nuw-team/
No big deal, but I work with stuff like this and it's so amateur
blonder than Sweden.

Brother over from Saudi, so off to the match with him and my Dad. In all honesty not expecting anything but can’t wait for this.
