  1. Going to go out on a limb and say he will be s*** for us as a right midfielder. If its 1.5 Million then it's not the biggest risk and a supposed promising young player for a cheap price isn't bad business.

Agree with everything except the young and promising part. Turning 26 this year like.

Who exactly do you suggest we sign instead of him, for the same amount of money?

Stating facts tbh. Nothing more in it.

But to answer, I'd prefer an exciting Carr-scouted player.

Well, no, you're stating your opinion, as has been evident throughout the thread.

How do you know it isn't Carr that recommended we sign Larsson?

Why would he recommend a team mate to one of his former clubs that nearly drove him into early retirement?

    idiot...

    Jesus !!!

theres a person on there thats called schweppes that says he has a source at newcastle but wont tell any one who it is and he sayd nzogbia is going 2 mackems

    From Schweppes:

I work at BBC Newcastle. I am not on the telly or anything like that.

I am a whats known as a bullshitter. I assist with putting together stories. I am getting info from AP news wires and also sports journalists

    FYP

  3. Ok but 700m pounds is certainly more than enough for him to spend the little 6m pounds.

The club don't have the money though, and Ashley won't put more of his own money in for transfers. It makes perfect sense that we can't actually afford this player.

However, we shouldn't be going after players we can't afford. It's a complete waste of time. (especially for everyone checking this thread ever 13 minutes).

It's not throwing away £5 mil never to be seen again though.

If he doesn't work out sell him off at the end of the season for about £3 mil and at worst we've lost £2 mil. If he has a sensational season his value could well quadruple and he could easily be worth £20 mil at the end of the season.

Only this fat bastard does not get speculate to accumulate.

  4. Hmm, but what if they move the club forward through terrible financial management that leaves us in significant debt? Don't see how you can totally disregard that, it's an important part of being a good 'caretaker'.

We're talking £5 mill for chrissakes not Leeds or Pompey spending proportions.

  5. You must be mad,ben arfa can actually dribble, jonas is like a taller version of tevez but without the skill and imagination but the same drive and work ethic, ben arfa is one of the most skilled players in the world, can shoot if given a chance but is also has a very good passing range and vision, all you need is people to make runs and hopefully he will see them and play you through.

I know nowt about him but it's funny that only us and some small German club are after "one of the most skilled players in the world " !!
