Poor half, but still in it.
Have to get the subs right today.
Not even sure it's that, we need to be further up the pitch. Just more energy, get about them. I think we'll see a different style second half.

16-1 that worth a punt

Sounds like we are going to have hordes of players available for the last few games.

We do have a pretty poor record of uptrading ( ie getting rid of someone and bringing in a better replacement) mainly due to hanging on to players for too long before any value can be gotten (Ritchie and dummett are prime examples). We could have gotten a fair wedge for Longstaff when he first came through based on the hype, but we slapped the 'not for sale' sign on him and he hasn't progressed as well as expected, so now we have a player low on confidence, in such poor form that no-one will be looking to spend on and will probably be here in 10 years time as a 'dressing room leader'
We've only done it once you could say, Mazi for Barnes and Barnes is clearly a better player for us.

Longstaff isn't going anywhere. Nobody will pay what we want for him.
Bet Sean Dyche would if they had any money

Is he? A year out can be pretty detrimental, and we don't really know how good he is from the few games he actually played. Hopefully it's given him time to settle here and gain an understanding of expectations, but could easily go the other way and he's the next Aquilani.
Did you not watch the first game of the season?

2 full season and 5 transfer windows later, these "sky6" ITK accounts still trying to link their deadweight with us, not realising that we wouldn't be buying their "Rejects".
Don't think he even gets in our current ( well next season)midfield of Tonali Bruno and Joelinton

Chelsea have said they had two independent quotes to show that the value of the hotel was fair. From what I read, that still needs to be approved (or at least did, when the accounts were submitted).
It does slightly beg the question as to why they didn't just do that and sold it to their own owner instead, but hey, I'm no cynic.
What I do find interesting is that these are an "ESL 6" club, and instead of it just being waived through, it's more and more clear that either the PL are wary of being challenged on how fair they are, or that there are divisions between them.
They sold it to them as they got the 72 million but then a management contract with the hotels so the club still gets the revenue from the hotels.

I'd hope £15m for Wilson and £30m for Almiron.
I think Wilson is 25 Million and 30 for Almiron if we sold them normally (Injuries to Wilson aside, Im not sure their fair Market price could take that into account) . Both internationals, both do well when fit.

We'll need a striker as backup to Isak. I bet Eddie wants Solanke but he'll cost a fortune. Need a young forriner

Whilst I don't agree with the part about Dummet. I am inclined to agree about Kelly. Last thing we need is another injury prone player. We need players that can play 50 games a season and just pick up niggles for the most part. Sure everyone is going to get a bad injury at some point but I'd rather target players who can play most weeks. Though, he'd probably cost 30 million. Big signing on fee plus his wages over 4 years would probably be less than 30 million.
It's an interesting one but rather players with less of a track record with injuries.

A few of the supposed ITKs on twitter reckon we are close to signing Kelly on a free.
Nice to see we are actively signing injured players to cut out the middleman.

I’m assuming the sheer number of charges against Man City means it will take longer to go through.
Why don't they do it a bit at a time like they did with Everton.

I don't think we have any chance at Sesko, it would require Wilson to be moved on to get him, and then he's just going to sit on the bench behind Isak all season?
Bring back 4-4 fucking 2

120m minimum. He'll look a lot better when we have a balanced team and midfield. He's carried us since he joined.
