Got to be a wind up.  Pickford is by far my most hated (don't like the word hate) person at this moment in time along with Donald Trump.  He's a complete arsehole who doesn't know how to control his emotions on the field of play.  His goalkeeping ability is average at best.  He has good games and bad games, how he is England's numbers one is staggering.

You need help if Pickford is your most hated person int he world

I think Pope is England's best keeper.  So maybe you are swayed by public opinion.

I think this is a ridiculous comment

Pickford is clearly better than pope

if anyone’s being swayed it’s you by loyalty

Surprised this hasn't been discussed yet (unless ive totally missed it somewhere) but next years League Cup will be seeded to ensure the teams playing in Europe cant play each other until at least the 5th round.

"The Carabao Cup has been forced to adopt a new “seeding mechanism” to ease the fixture pile-up caused by the extended Champions League format.

Rankings will ensure Champions League qualifiers do not draw Europa League teams, with third-round EFL Cup fixtures now spread over two weeks to further ease congestion.

The league has left its options open for the fifth round when it becomes clear whether there could be any further clashes with European competition.

The Europa Conference League (European football’s third tier) will affect any round three for the domestic competition as its group stages start at a later date. Unprecedented fixture chaos next season had previously prompted clubs to warn they might be be forced to field their kids in the Carabao Cup."

So to ease congestion they make it easier for them to get through and... play more games

The game is so fucking corrupt its beyond belief

Is it not just champions league can’t draw europa league for 1 round - Arsenal could still draw Liverpool for example?

What's up with Brewdog? I know there was some controversy about treatment of staff last year, but I didn't fully catch it all.

I've gone off my IPAs and Pale Ale's these days regardless.

Im always a bit skeptical about the brewdog hate whether its been seeded by the big guns to stop them expanding as fast

"He has had to take alot of shots" So does the post and crossbar, but isn't on no where near the wedge he will be on. As per with a few of them sound cheerleaders but not up to standard wish the youth setup was a few more years down the line to provide the padding to the squad.

Newcastle United Legend meet-and-greet: A Q&A with a club legend, alongside the chance to compete in a Newcastle United quiz and win some top prizes. Scheduled for Thursday 23 May (7-9pm) at a central Melbourne location (Venue TBC).

Please note the following date, time and location for the exclusive event:

Crown Melbourne, Level 1 Casino, 8 Whiteman St, Southbank, VIC, 3006.

Do you have a link for the legend meet and greet ?

im wanting to send to my pal in Melbourne

  8. If Howe sees them as worth the ( small wages ) they are on then why not?

I doubt he’s short sighted enough to block youth

and in a horrendous injury crisis would you not want Dummett in v an untried youngster in the conference league ? Or if we had a dead rubber etc

^^^^^^^^How to let everyone know you know fuck all about football, without actually saying “I know fuck all about football”.^^^^^^

    I think he’s great- I just don’t think he’s a 100million player. I don’t think someone would pay that much

sorry for not having the sheep opinion on something that’s subjective

Pretty sure that was during the first VAR season, and the rules has changed since then.

Back then, the linesman would raise his flag but play would go on and then the ref would pull it back. Nowadays, the linesman should keep his flag down if it's a close call and then raise it. Don't know why he raised it straight away tonight.

No it’s down to the ref still

the linesman should show it after the move finishes though

I've had to turn the commentary off, it's driving me mad. Their main should be to tell you who's got the ball. Instead, all you get if pointless stats, irrelevant information about previous games, and rather obvious comments about what's happened 5 seconds before.

Your watching the game in silence?
