I thought overall the game was amazing and quality

given - always in right place, came out bit far sometimes

solano - quality no other word!

caca - controlled the back four solid

taylor - played well

enrique - great defenisive headers but looked a bit lost

smith - was in open space but lack of support made him look fustrated

geremi - slowed the tempo down of the game

emre - really slow should'nt have been played

zog - cnt describe how immense the lad is

ameobi - great support for owen

owen - looked a bit slow but scored what more can u ask of a striker

butt - played ok

martins - scored so did his job

edgar - not on for long but was ok

enrique didnt look to good yesterday i was undecided yesterday if he is a quality player, at times he cleared the ball well but then he got into some funny positions which i think made the cb confused to what he was actually doing.

Why not just play Smith off Owen and Martins?

because the left striker and right striker are pushed wide,if we played your choice this would leave a large gap down the wing with carr and zog having to help with cutting in + crossing + defending.

I reckon prices should be around £25 for everymatch, £35 is really expensive when the average person in newcastle earns around £50 per day (colleague next 2 me at work reckons its £70 a day...."hes wrong" !) . prices are way over the top, people that love football like me, we are being taken for idiots i think.

Cant beilve people can compare dyer with smith? smith is slower yes but works much harder he WANTS ANY PLACE in the squad to be able to play football with newcastle. dyer is fast but thats it he lacks vision or purpose he has no end achievement he will be lucky to finish or to make the perfect pass.

tbh i wasnt happy with smith but im wrong he seems a really good signing and %100 better then dyer.

i dont think it will be a sell out , even tho its a big change this year quite a few fans are still angry at the lack of effort last season.

The zog and elano, hopefully when we get our defence sorted and the zog is back in midfield he can do his stuff again.

defo rb is whats needed if we get that then we can contentrate more on other positions

ive been to the carlise and juve game and he looked quality totally in control the full time. he shows some amazing composure when under pressure he doesnt seem to make as many back passes but pushes the ball forward.

geremi looks quality aswell really pleased , i always though he was a solid dmf but when ive seen him play at the toon he pushes foward!

barton didnt see too much of him but wasnt to happy with him, but not worried am sure he will come good.
