  1. He doesn't "have" to be allowed back to football but he has a legal right to do it and presumably has something to offer on the pitch so clubs should be free to make a football decision. It's not about being allowed, he is legally allowed.

eh, what legal right?  Yes he is legally allowed, but this is not the same as a right.  I'm fairly sure that I'd find it near impossible to get back in to my field of work if I were a convicted rapist, and I'm not even in the public eye.  Yes I think he should be allowed to work, no I do not believe that he has a right to be paid footballer, that's a privilege not a right.  I don't believe for one second that Oldham would be so interested in signing him if it were not for the fact he is far better than anyone else they could normally afford; amazing value for money because his reputation is so damaged.

He has a legal right to seek employment in whatever field he so chooses. The only reason he's not already playing football again is due to the pressure being exerted on clubs that would otherwise have signed him ages back.

    wo

But why should he be allowed back?  Would you be happy if he was employed to work alongside your missus?  First works do where she has a few too many shandys would you expect him to get her a taxi to ensure that she gets home safe and sound, or do you think he'd take advantage and have her panties down and be in balls deep before you can say 'Why did they employ him?'

  3. I just whacked this up, debunking some Pardew myths for Palace fans.

    http://gegenpress.blogspot.co.uk/2014/12/wake-up-palace-fans-time-for-some.html

Why?  Let them think he is the dog danglies until they've signed him.  Last thing we want is someone from the club reading this thinking that signing him is a mistake.

    So for anybody from Palace, this is my official line;

Pardew is brilliant, and its such a shame that a big team like Palace are stealing him from us.  Oh how we we cope?

  4. So ...

    Mark Hughes on Arnautovic.

    Neil Warnock on Taraabt.

Both these managers, are more clued up than Pardew. Imagine the disgustingly unfortunate position we currently find ourselves in.

    God help us.

Both of those manager played as attacking players.  I believe its likely that they understand creative players better than Pardew because of this.  Pardew was a defender, and approaches each game as a defender,  he seems to think that if we defend then goals somehow magically happen.  Failing to spot that the players required to create that magic aren't going to be defending, and failing to provide that platform from the rest of the team for them to have the autonomy to produce goals.

  5. Would have fired him after the Reading match, and nothing has changed since.  The only players he seems to be easily capable of motivating are the opposition.  He is too scared of failure to set up a team to try and win, putting our players under pressure, and generally causing some of the most turgid displays of football I've ever seen from such a talented bunch of players.  This team deserves to be enjoying their football, but with him in charge for another year, I wouldn't be surpised to see half of them quit and start farming instead.

  6. Please tell me there are screen grabs of Man Utd fans crying. I want to taste their tears.

Worst result ever.  It's my birthday, my wife is that rarest of breeds, a Manu fan from Stretford, and my chances of a birthday BJ or shag have gone up in smoke.  Shite day.

  7. As SBR so beautifully put it:

" What is a club anyway? It's the noise, the passion, the feeling of belonging, the pride in your city."

I have a passion for tall leggy blondes.  But if they don a strap on and start anally raping me I'm sensible enough to recognise that its an abusive relationship and hobble away.  Yes I love the club, but there comes a point where you walk away and say, this is not good for me', or as Oprah once put it 'love ain't meant to feel bad'. And supporting this club makes me feel bad more often it should.

  8. If west ham had gone to the manager and said 'we need to raise x million from player sales, and get the wage bill down to y' but let him chose who, that would have been ok. The problem is that they decided they knew who best to get shot of, and that's unfair on the manager when he is the one in the firing line when results go bad.

  9. Anyone else think it was bad taste he'd brought the severed head of Sir Bobby along with him?

No, but I did think it was quite ironic the only thing sat next to him was a bust of a Geordie legend.

if it had legs I'm sure it would have changed seats.

  10. Not to mention saying that no other manager 'had the arsehole for this job'

He was completely spot on with that that quote.  Which other manager was going to bend over and let themselves be abused by the Ashely and Co like that?

  11. ...the reason why clips, streams, etc, are not allowed:

Websites that offer access to live unauthorised coverage from PCs, usually sourced from overseas broadcasters in the Far East or around the world, have been popular with a small minority of web users unwilling to pay for a TV subscription for some time.

    Source: http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2009/jan/21/premier-league-cracks-down-on-illegal-broadcasts

Its not that we're unwilling to paid for them. I already get raped for Sky and Setanta, and would be willing to be pillaged even more for every Newcastle Match to be legally available live (Other than actually going to a match, I don't have the spare time to travel as well as rip my hair out for 90minutes)
