Thought Hall, Burn and Murphy were really good today. Burns tackle in particular at 0-0 was massive.
Once we went 1-0 up Longstaff and Bruno were in control. Actually think Krafth is a better centre half than full back.
Though Livramento was a bit off it today, not as solid defensively and a lack of cutting edge going forward. Hey ho.
Burnley are shite, and 4-4-2 was the right choice today by Howe, as they couldn't cope with us in the final third. Don't want to see us playing it against a better team though, Longstaff and Bruno don't have the legs for a two.

Class today
-
We've been class in the final third like
-
Burnley goal coming here
-
Two in midfield isn't working.
-
Fitting end to the season tbh

Following on from the manager 5 a side team yesterday, whats the best XI of footballers in their prime, ever to play for us at some point?
Given
Trippier Campbell Woodgate Pearce
Beardsley Gascoigne Keegan Waddle
Rush Shearer
Quite attacking heavy. A couple in there who were possibly the best in the world at a point in time.

Hypothetically, with massive funds and a will to get something done as quickly as possible.
How long would a rebuild take? Minimum 2 years?
Nowhere to play in the mean time is the issue.
Murrayfield possibly the closest, feasible option but that would be a nightmare.

I have been impressed with Iraola at Bournemouth this season mind
Was about one game away from the sack at one point this season.
There's almost a negative new manager bounce these days while coaches get players implementing their philosophy. Iraola, we were slow with Howe, Glasner took a while to get going at Palace.

Don't think he managed us?
He can be assistant to the regional manager
One game as a caretaker in 96/97 after Keegan flounced, would have him in on a technicality if we weren't already stacked in midfield.

Terry Mac unlucky to miss out with his 3 European cups

If PSR is what it is, and we have no wiggle room in the market then he might have to go. Which is bullshit in itself but we can't carry on with this squad really.
If he's going to go, he should go early in the window, allowing us to rebuild.
He's irreplaceable really. We've seen Liverpool spend 60m on Szoboszlai who's been underwhelming. Players like Bruno and hit the ground running don't come along unless you're lucky, but maybe improvements to other areas of the team soften the blow, and we might be better off for it longer term all in all.
Absolutely no guarantee we'd spend it wisely like. A Spurs situation, where they spunked the Bale money on absolute dross, would be a disaster.

Dubravka
Livramento Schar Burn Hall
Longstaff Bruno Anderson
Gordon Isak Barnes
Please, no Krafth or Murphy. Hall is ready to play against one of the worst teams ever to play in the PL.

Fucking Murphy, Krafth and Longstaff on that right hand side man. Championship level dross.
Couldn't string a pass together and continually exposed.
-
Falls over constantly. Has done all season.
Been rubbish for ages. I genuinely don't think he's up to it at this level.
-
Lol Dubravka man
-
That's an absolute fucking joke. Fucking ridiculous.
-
That's what happens when you repeatedly give the ball away.
Haven't strung a pass together since half time.

Genuinely think this will be our toughest out of our remaining fixtures.
Olise, Mateta and Eze are flying and with our back four, they'll cause issues. Wonder if we'll be tempted by 5 at the back and try and catch them out. We absolutely cannot play high up the pitch against these. Time and again we've been caught on the break, these will be deadly on the counter.
-
Wonder if Norwich fans are dreading potential promotion. Theyll be knowing fine well they're in for a season of misery as they make absolutely no effort to stay up, like they don't every time they come up.
-
I can't believe I'm going to say this but, winning the Conference wouldn't feel like that much of an achievement. I feel myself turning my nose up at it.
If we're going to wait 50+ years to win something, I want it to be as glorious as possible. We'd go into the ECL as favourites with a budget that puts most other clubs in it to shame. Plus, if West Ham and Villa have already won it. The Europa League is different.
-
They look good at the minute. Especially with Eze and Olise back. Would take a draw with Burnley and Sheff Utd up next.

Last 3 games we've won, we've played with 3 different formations and game plans.
5 at the back V Spurs, usual 433 at home v Sheff Utd and 442 today. Nailed it each time.
Brilliant coach like, unreal how he can implement ideas so quickly.
