Was he even there? Needs to see the fruits of his long hard summer toil first hand...surely? Oh, hang on a minute...
He is supposed to be watching a game in Europe and meeting a club President afterwards.
An Idiot Abroad 3.
Cheers - gave me a much needed chuckle...
Desperate times & that.

He looks blotto! I hope any talks aren't until late tomorrow! Nice cigar!
Hopefully he's on his way to Dignitas.

That. Simply. Cannot. Be. Him.
Can it?

Pardew looks like he's about to chuck it in!

I'd be amazed if we don't get another red card here
Let's have a sweepstake on when our first win comes.........I'll have January

Have to say that the whole situation we find ourselves in is thoroughly depressing...
The season starts tomorrow and I simply don't feel anything but apathetic about it - I cannot remember feeling so 'meh' the day before our first game of the season before.
Why?
No investment, no ambition, not a solitary signing to look forward to getting a first (competetive) glimpse of.
The constant dampening of expectations and negativity coming from our 'leader' - we can't compete with Man City etc is bad enough - but Southampton FFS?
The predictability of the turgid, 'worry about them first' football we know we will be served up - and Pardew's constant hypocrisy in the press about him being a 'front foot' type of manager.
I was watching goals on Sunday this morning and found myself looking at West Ham, Norwich (FFS), Everton etc and thinking they look like they might have half decent seasons - decent football, attacking intent, a couple of new faces etc...
Then I remembered what we have to look forward to.
If I were the likes of Cabaye, Ben Arfa , Debuchy etc I'd be taking the first opportunity that came along to jump ship.
Excuse me while I find a tall bridge to fling mysel off!

Honestly - why the holy fuck does he have to spew the 'over the line' crap...
The single most annoying thing about him IMO.

Hahaha just been on Talksport - currently painting a club crest on the bairns wall but listening to Gough was boiling my piss!

The thing that narks me in that interview? His total and repeated ignorance of the fact we are called Newastle UNITED Football Club.
Cunt.

Harsh pen yes - but we have been beyond shite...
So much for being up for it eh?

Ashley: "Dekka, check if you've had a reply from that Montepplier chap"....

do all the stoke players have towels stitched to the insides of their shirts?
Seem to have...
Noticed it against us before and against the unwased the other night.
embarrassing and quite sad
That we noticed?!?

We did that once...scored from the oppositions penalty I mean..
Eater Monday 1984 at home to Carlisle....
Wasnt in the last minute. though and we did win 5-0 so I spose the circumstances were different
5-1 wasn't it? Kevin Carr double save (like Almunia's) then Keegan header (which was a bit dodgy as he was leaning on the defender a bit)
My Bad...yup, 5-1 it was.
Good times though!
