Surely the test is the test and that's the end of it. There's a set criteria and if it's met then it passes?
How can Qatar be allowed to hire a QC to give their interpretation of the WTO report and submit it? The PL are looking at the suitability or otherwise of MbS and Saudi to become the owners of a PL club and that's the end of it. The process has nothing to do with Qatar outside of the piracy claim which has now been revealed and presented. Up to the PL to decide who they say no to, SA or Qatar. Given Qatar don't already own a PL club I'd imagine it's easier to say no to them and welcome the new SA cash.
This isn't a new issue either, the PL will have been quite aware of what's happened over the last couple of years and still haven't said no yet. They could have thrown it out immediately. They could have thrown it out yesterday night upon publication of the report but they haven't. That leads me to believe it'll go through and some kind of compromise will be thrashed out via the PL and SA about the piracy. Nothing at all to base this on btw
Agreed

My guess is that Saudi is not exactly innocent regarding harboring/enabling terrorism either. But that's the stance they've taken right now against Qatar. And which some countries recognize. Probably KSA end goal is making Qatar part of KSA since Qatar has alot of natural gas etc.
Wasn't there something that happened in september 2001 or something? 11 Saudis flew an airplane into some skyscrapers in the USA. Terrible accident.
Yes terrible that. But hard to prove KSA were behind it officially I guess. Just as we all know KSA is behind BeoutQ but no one has been able to prove it... officially

And it's ironic watching Keys etc being all high and mighty discussing piracy as if it's the end of the world while their employer is allegedly enabling/harboring terrorists. Strain at gnats and swallowing camels.

Yes, atleast that is why Saudis have broken all contact with them. Other MENA-countries (KSA puppets perhaps) agree, also US.
-
Doubt KSA will fold their views on Qatar for this. Perhaps it's not KSA+rest of MENA who should allow Qatar television etc in their countries. But rather that Qatar should stop harboring terrorist and comply with Riyadh-agreement. Why are PL co-operating with instrument of terrorist enabling state Qatar is another questing, why are they listening to them etc.
WTO report recongized Saudis reason for not listening to Qatar in their conclusion from what I understood.

I guess they're delivering settlement to Qatar for broadcasting BeoutQ.

So, couple of flights from Riyad to Hamburg, Air Hamburg plane later at Farnborough, Air Hamburg plane from Farnborough to Riyad... soon to be announced!!!

Okay, so this plane spotting is pretty addictive. Found a smallish jet on the ground at Farnborough belonging to Air Hamburg, D-AFBS. No flight history though. :idiot2:

Doubt any statement will have any effect on anything really, if he was actually planning on selling, he still will. Pretty certain he won't factor in an Ashleyout statement into his decision
Exactly.
Although he's a petty cunt, he knows that he's never going to get a better offer than this as long as he lives. He'd be crackers to turn this down.
But he has always been unreasonable in his business dealings. You can see it even in our buying and selling policy for players. We expect top dollar for the likes of Gayle but refuse to pay more or less the same amount for Rondon who had a far more proven pedigree at the top level. If he thinks there are Saudis behind this, he will try to screw every penny beyond the final price.
Agree, didn't he say something along the lines of "if you've got 100 billion what's 10 million more" the last time with Bin Zayed?

Love Miggy! Seems to try a bit to much. A goal will settle him down I guess.

Wijnaldum and Toney feels like interesting acquisitions. Rolan feels like a new Gouffran.
