  1. @sportsbreakfast: 6 defeats in a row

    Worst run in 27 years

Just 1.11 goals per home game

    What is happening at #NUFC?

    We ask former forward @mickquinn1089

The stats seem to have made an impact at last

Even Rob Lee defending him now.

    Hands tied, Cabaye etc. etc.

  2. Glad to see that Gary Neville absolutely murdered him:

"Alan Pardew is getting a lot of stick at the moment, but maybe when they look back in time - he's one of the longest-serving managers, second in the league - he hasn't done a bad job in what have been circumstances where not a lot of people would have done better."

"I feel sorry for Alan Pardew in some ways and I feel sorry for the coaches because it reflects badly on them. There's no way they're coaching them to do these things on the pitch"

    Oh wait..

  3. He has got to do something about the corners. Please! its been couple seasons of the same s***. Williamson loosing the header at the back post. It is absolutely untenable and embarrassing. But he is focused of stopping the opponent in his "coaching"-sessions...Incredible, really. Is the coaching staff and the pleyers too embarrassed to say anything? Surely someone is taking notice of this?

  4. I saw Good play against Hibs last friday. Very solid and calm defender and you would have thought that he is much older than 20.  Overall the game was really poor,  but he played well.

  5. Nice stuff from Bellamy in the Fantasy Football Show. Sir Bobby was the strictest manager he has ever had. The team could not leave from lunch untill bobby was finished etc..

Also tells that Bobby totally ripped him after he refused to play at right wing ever again.

Sometimes you can get the image that Sir Bobby was just a funny old man, but to achieve so much success he had to have that  side as well.  :snod:

  6. Lets be honest, we didn't know Geremi had aged 10 years in a year. He did bring in decent defensive players.

..Sam's big downfall was his buying record. No manager gets it right all the time but Sam signed nine players and only two — Abdoulaye Faye and Habib Beye — could be considered successes. That's not a great percentage. Jose Mourinho told me last season that Geremi's legs had effectively gone. "Mister, he plays like a 40-year-old. He can not run any more. He will not play for me in important matches again," was Jose's typically forthright response.

Naturally, I was alarmed to read that Newcastle wanted to sign Geremi. I passed on my information to someone at the club (this was before Mike Ashley took over) but Geremi still ended up signing. In fact, Sam made him captain

    -Sir Bobby Robson

  7. Ben Afri, Sylvain Taylor, Amoebi? He virtually got all the names wrong he mentioned. Surely Hughton got Perch from Forest and not Uncle Joe? And so nice to hear about Ray Harford, Bobby Gould and Warren Barton. So relevant. I love him. This is fantastic.

  8. Game was over after Shola came on for HBA. He should have but Marveux on at that stage. Hoofing the ball to Hangelands head was sad to watch really. Especially, when our forwards did not make any efforts to win the ball.  I dont think we won any headers in their box. And all this after we played (= HBA played) some nice football in the second half.

Jonas playing full 90 mins

I would not mind him getting the sack, but Ashley porbably would just hire someone like Kinnear..
