If you liked Eddie’s reception, you’d have loved Fraser’s!!

”You know what you are, you know what you arrrrrrre, Ryan Fraser, you know what you are!”

    And

“He plays on the left, he plays on the riiight, (insert name of Bournemouth player) makes Fraser look sh1te!”

”We want Fraser on, we want Fraser on!”

also their P.A when announcing our team pre-match went through the subs out of order, deliberately leaving Fraser last so that the crowd could settle into a good boo of him. Was class to be fair!

@WillDanceForChocolate Jefferson Lerma had very little English apparently so didn’t get anything out of him.

Keiffer Moore, Lerma, Solanke all seemed very nice though!

    Totally deserved.

  2. Team looked leggy. Nothing wrong with the players, they aren't superhuman and can't be expected to keep up our high press/pace/tempo all season without being rotated and given a rest, it's the depth of the squad that needs improving (and will be in time).

The improvement all round since the takeover has been fuckin immense.

It was a bad day at the office but still got a result away from home.

Fantastic to see the reception Eddie got so for that alone Bournemouth deserved something.

Consider 15 months ago...........I'm fuckin delighted!!

Aye after two big injuries in one season I can't see any club willing to take a risk in the summer.

Dunno....from what I hear after todays result Barcelona may be hovering and looking at a few of their players.

Didn’t think anyone was suggesting he’s leaving when the conversation started. Just the fact that this form is defo big money bid type form

I agree but I think even if a big money bid came in he wouldn't be interested in leaving and the club wouldn't sell. He's the new bright future of NUFC......thank fuck:lol:

  6. Bruno wont leave - he's fully committed to the project which is materialising and was the reason he signed in the first place.

He clearly loves it here, the club, the city and the fans. He will be here for the majority, if not all, of his career.

  7. Seen the WBA - Luton highlights on TV and the whole thing, crowd, atmosphere, even their stripey tops reminded me of us about one year and a week ago....it was like a bad case of deja vu....so then I re-run the highlights of us beating Brentford 5-1 and all is good again

I mean, sure, but it’s not like you had a choice between the two approaches. I genuinely don’t think you could have got a single one of those players…at this stage in proceedings. You’re just doing what any team in your position should be doing, just you have more flexibility and money than most have had.

Take, I dunno, Leicester seven years ago - signing relatively unknown quality players (Kante, Inler, Demarai Gray, Amartey) putting them with tried and trusted PL players (Huth, Nathan Dyer) and making the most of players already there (Chilwell, Wes Morgan, Danny Drinkwater, Riyad Mahrez). One difference is that your “relatively unknown” quality players and other transfers in are costing about three or four times as much as Leicester paid. And that’s OK, it’s where you’re at. It’s just a bit strange to be pleased about not doing something that you couldn’t do even if you wanted.

I take your point but at the same time the new owners could have took the Man City approach and spent millions on marque signings (money talks) and I'm not so sure we couldn't have attracted some of those players if we just flashed the cash therefore don't think we can really say they were out of our reach.... as far a I am aware we never tried for any of them so we'll never know.

Feels like loads of movement already this summer, domestically speaking.

    Richarlison to Spurs

    Raphinha to Chelsea

    Phillips to City

    Jesus to Arsenal

    Sterling to Chelsea possibly

    Gonna be weird.

All good/great players but I'm pleased we didn't sign any of them, all of their strength and weaknesses are known in the PL. I love the idea we are buying relatively unknown quality players like Bruno and Botman (more to follow) and putting them alongside tried and trusted PL players (Tripps, Targett, Burn, Pope) and making the most or giving a chance to prove themselves to players already here (Joelinton, ASM, Scharr, Krafth)....it just seems like a nice balanced approach. The best thing is that when we buy players we are not familiar with, I have confidence that we know what we are doing and are buying quality players that fit with the project/ethos and all seem to be low key appointments....so yeah, they're all good players above but I am more than fucking happy with the NUFC approach...... in Eddie, the owners and now Ashworth I trust.

Can't wait for next season, already excited. not felt so positive and looked forward to a season so much since they announced the arrival of KK....as a player!!
