  1. Shame on NUFC, the PL and Northumbria Police. The irony of a Saudi owned club acting like this will not be lost on every football fan in the country.
  2. Team looked leggy. Nothing wrong with the players, they aren't superhuman and can't be expected to keep up our high press/pace/tempo all season without being rotated and given a rest, it's the depth of the squad that needs improving (and will be in time). The improvement all round since the takeover has been fuckin immense. It was a bad day at the office but still got a result away from home. Fantastic to see the reception Eddie got so for that alone Bournemouth deserved something. Consider 15 months ago...........I'm fuckin delighted!! HTL
  3. That's their first eleven I'll have you know!!
  4. Apparently to play like 1970's Brazil they needed a pitch from the 1970's.
  5. The real fuckin pope would have saved it.

    Sander Berge

His name sounds like one of those fancy made up names you see on a tin of paint. Sure the missus said she wanted Sander Berge in the bedroom!!
  7. Popped into JD Sports for a new purple shell suit to avoid the bizzies. Last seen in metrocentre blue car park stealing a set of alloys. oh ey, calm down.
  8. Dunno....from what I hear after todays result Barcelona may be hovering and looking at a few of their players.
  9. "If Barcelona played like this everyone would be"........ pissing themselves laughing!
  10. Probably fat cunt Ashley coming to pick up the Sports Direct signage from the skip.
  11. They've already got a thread for the replay attendance
  12. A truly unbelievable Own Goal.... a big thank you to all involved at SAFC for organising this game
  13. PMSL.....yeah, we have no ceiling....so you scouse cunts and Manu U and your cockney cunty pals can all fuckoff. It's all about NUFC going forward. We're the daddies now!!
  14. I agree but I think even if a big money bid came in he wouldn't be interested in leaving and the club wouldn't sell. He's the new bright future of NUFC......thank fuck
  15. Bruno wont leave - he's fully committed to the project which is materialising and was the reason he signed in the first place. He clearly loves it here, the club, the city and the fans. He will be here for the majority, if not all, of his career.
  16. Seen the WBA - Luton highlights on TV and the whole thing, crowd, atmosphere, even their stripey tops reminded me of us about one year and a week ago....it was like a bad case of deja vu....so then I re-run the highlights of us beating Brentford 5-1 and all is good again
  17. Win, lose or draw the confidence and anticipation going into any game this season is fucking brilliant. It's a hard one to call as both teams are capable of scoring but I fancy us to get a result.
  18. Why do I feel like a MLF on RTG and "Mancinpeace" has put his head above the parapet
  19. Graham Potter God bless them, they are funny little creatures.
  20. I'll have a P please Bob. Apologies to our younger viewers
  21. Lampard and Gerrard are just modern versions of Bruce.....they're just starting out.... give it another 20 years.
  22. I take your point but at the same time the new owners could have took the Man City approach and spent millions on marque signings (money talks) and I'm not so sure we couldn't have attracted some of those players if we just flashed the cash therefore don't think we can really say they were out of our reach.... as far a I am aware we never tried for any of them so we'll never know.
  23. All good/great players but I'm pleased we didn't sign any of them, all of their strength and weaknesses are known in the PL. I love the idea we are buying relatively unknown quality players like Bruno and Botman (more to follow) and putting them alongside tried and trusted PL players (Tripps, Targett, Burn, Pope) and making the most or giving a chance to prove themselves to players already here (Joelinton, ASM, Scharr, Krafth)....it just seems like a nice balanced approach. The best thing is that when we buy players we are not familiar with, I have confidence that we know what we are doing and are buying quality players that fit with the project/ethos and all seem to be low key appointments....so yeah, they're all good players above but I am more than fucking happy with the NUFC approach...... in Eddie, the owners and now Ashworth I trust. Can't wait for next season, already excited. not felt so positive and looked forward to a season so much since they announced the arrival of KK....as a player!! HTL
