Fine. So if Howe doesn't play a player because he doesn't believe he's ready. Howe gets slammed. So if he does play a player and he's not ready and stinks the place up. Guess what happens? The player gets slammed for his performance and Howe gets slammed for starting him. Of course in an ideal world the player plays and tears the place up with great performances. But we don't know if a player is or isn't ready because we aren't the ones working with him daily. That would be Howe. The manager.

He's paid and his career lives or dies to make those decisions though. Us, not so much.

And know he's a first teamer and an England player. If he continued playing and struggling (It's a what if) that wouldn't be good for building confidence either. Of course he could have continued playing and performed as he usually does too.

Chelsea are currently level with Arsenal and 6 behind Liverpool. As unlikely as it is you never know, they could surprise everyone and win the league. I highly doubt it. But it's not impossible.
