    Harvey Barnes

He might not granted, but if we can secure any form of European football, then he needs selling the fact that we absolutely need to be able to rotate fighting on four fronts and his game time will increase.

Barnes is the more clinical of the two, but as others have said Gordon is the better all-round team player. Started the season slowly and could use a goal or two to settle him down but his relentless running and now defensive work he puts in with Hall makes him undroppable right now. The whole team seem to be singing off the same hymn sheet again and without the utterly pointless nations league disruptions we're hitting form at the right time. Others need moving long before Barnes as it would mean investing in a position we're well covered for in the first place. Hope he stays and gets some more minutes as we need to manage workloads...Bromley is a perfect game for him next weekend.
  3. Personally I liked the idea someone floated of a 4-2-3-1 to give the back four some cover, something like: Pope Kelly, Burn (Botman when back), Schar, Tino Bruno, Tonali Barnes, Willock, Gordon Isak Subs (I'd rotate these depending on game): Dubravka, Trippier, Hall (bring off Burn and move Kelly inside), Big Joe, Longstaff, Murphy, Paula Alternatively, a 3-4-1-2 in attack, switching to a 5 in defence (worked a treat against Spurs last season). We definitely need a younger keeper to challenge Pope in next 2seasons, an out and out LB, a replacement for Schar in next 12-18months, another athletic CM to replace Longstaff, a new RW and a replacement for Wilson.
