  1. I've got a PS4 and an Xbox One. Anyway, I'm done with this. Enjoy your chosen console.
  2. It's hardly surprising you get the different Xbox consoles confused when after 19 years of existence you still don't know it's "Xbox" and not "X-box".
  3. You're the only person with an interest in gaming who seems to struggle with it. Of course the PlayStation model range is so much 'cleaner' isn't it? PlayStation PS One PlayStation 2 PlayStation 3 PlayStation 3 Slim PlayStation 3 Super Slim PlayStation 4 PlayStation 4 Slim PlayStation 4 Pro PlayStation 5 PlayStation 5 Digital
  4. Regarding TVs, a lot of people who buy a PS5/Xbox Series X/S won't be getting the maximum from it. A PC gamer wouldn't use a TV as a monitor but most console gamers do. TVs which can do 4K, 120fps won't be what the majority of people have. Probably takes a PC gamer to explain it but as I understand it, most prefer a higher frame rate over 4K.
  5. It's not that difficult to work out the more expensive Series X is more powerful than the much cheaper Series S. Considering Xbox has been around since 2001 you must live under a rock not to know it's "Xbox" and not "X-Box".

  7. Sony have got the Playstation 1st party game fans by the balls. "Want our new "triple A" game? That will be £70. Not happy? Well we know you won't be going to Xbox so cough up." I genuinely saw a post on a game website comments section that said: - "I hope Sony never bring their games to PS Now on release date like Microsoft does with Game Pass. Sony don't need to do that as their games sell well." A consumer actively hoping Sony don't give them a good deal? Madness.
  8. I've not really noticed what the day one releases are for PS5 or Xbox Series X/S. I think I knew 'Assassin’s Creed Valhalla' was one and I guessed 'FIFA 21' would be one too. https://www.trueachievements.com/n43256/xbox-series-x-launch-titles
  9. I hate the "authenticity" of having everyone smoking in period set programmes. 'Peaky Blinders' is the worst for it. Would anyone even notice if they weren't smoking? Would people complain that it wasn't historically accurate as people weren't smoking?
  10. Xbox Series X/S pre-order goes live at 8AM on Tuesday (22nd of September). https://news.xbox.com/en-us/2020/09/17/xbox-series-x-xbox-series-s-pre-orders-september-22/
  11. The winner of the next round face Newport County or Watford away.
  12. 'Blockbusters' need to make at least double their budget to break even (sounds nonsensical but Hollywood accounting means marketing, etc don't get include in the film budget). 'Tenet' was the big test and it hasn't done the business in the US (party because California and New York cinemas are apparently still closed and they are the biggest earners). I wouldn't be surprised if every big budget film isn't pushed back again and again.
  13. The new Xbox UI is supposed to be mega quick. They've concentrated on optimising it for speed. I've never used the Switch. I don't think much of the PS4 UI. It's okay if you just want to launch the last game you played. When you have to go into the menus it's a pain.

  15. I've not heard many Playstation owners say they like the PS4 UI. I've heard even less say they were happy it was barely updated. People joke about how every PS4 Firmware update is always "This system software update improves system performance." https://www.pushsquare.com/news/2019/07/ps4_firmware_update_6_72_now_available_to_download I like the Xbox One UI and I like how they've kept improving it. I think it's good that Microsoft are going to roll out the Xbox Series X/S UI to the Xbox One. https://www.windowscentral.com/evolution-xbox-one-dashboard-ui
