Canuck
I always found it odd that NUFC was the only prem club to use blue numbers and letters during the 03 - 05 years. It made it next to impossible to get names and numbers anywhere but Newcastle from about Christmas 05 onward.
WarrenBartonCentrePartin
Dunno about anyone else, but my name and number were the proper material stuff, the 'squishy' stuff, as Niina put it. Like the sponsor. you could get numbers like that in Allsports in the Metrocentre. Everywhere else uses the "shiny paper" as some put it.
Guest Craig_NUFC
Just so everyone knows the 'Squishy' stuff is called Lextra - thats what the players have on their shirts exept their names and numbers are slightly larger and the 'paper' plastic stuff is just called PU thats whats on most replica shirts certain shops sell the lextra but that is usualy slightly more expensive than the PU but it wont crack or peel like the PU will eventaly
