Capello dropped him for Real Madrid so he isn't going to be desperate to pick him for England. His motivation to play will get even less and he'll spend more time at his stables where his true interest lies (it seems). No, he didn't. He is a white elephant inflicted on us by a well-meaning but incompetent chairman - good player undoubtably, but never seems to play and believes he should be playing for Man U and cant understand why the fans are so p*ssed off at his lack of appearances, lack of loyalty and whining (off-screen yes - but whining) for a top-of-the-table side.
