1878
This is because the ball boys are too young and have to pay to be a ball boy, or rather their rich parents do. The sooner we scrap this exercise the better and get some kids in from some of the local clubs who actually understand the game of football the better. Having ball boys that can read the game and know when to be slow and when to be quick could give us a very slight advantage. Any idea how much? You're too old mate. Guest
I remember against Liverpool earlier in the season where the ball was out of play about 10 seconds, and Given ended up sprinting over 40 yards, hurdle the advertising hoardings, and run back, because there were no ballboys around. 9
I remember against Liverpool earlier in the season where the ball was out of play about 10 seconds, and Given ended up sprinting over 40 yards, hurdle the advertising hoardings, and run back, because there were no ballboys around. Given often ends up going for the ball. I know there only kids but really we should have kids capable of judging the bounce at the very least :-) surprised big Sam hasn't done anything, we must lose 4-5mins per game min due to them, and in games like derby at home 1-2 down you really need to keep things going.
