Guest Posted February 26, 2008 Share Posted February 26, 2008 It's always been like that hasn't it? 6th place always used to get a uefa cup spot automatically. Oh well, my apologies. Could have sworn that's what Sky said. Pretty sure in the 2005-6 season when we finished 7th, Blackburn in 6th only got the place because Wigan had lost the Carling Cup final, therefore the UEFA Cup spot dropping to 6th, and us getting the Intertoto slot. brummie Posted February 26, 2008 Share Posted February 26, 2008 Back in 2003/04, we finished 5th with Boro winning the Carling cup and Millwall being runners up in the FA cup.
