One of the all time lows for me.  I was involved in the Protest after as well.

 

The Charlton match a week earlier was just as bad.

 

In some weird way those games were more depressing than the relegation for me.

 

I reckon i was as miserable under Roeder as i was under Kinnear. The latter had a certain ridiculous hilarity which desensitised the doom a little bit, and relegation seemed inevitable. Under Roeder, we were still only a couple of years post-Bobby, and by God it was fucking terrible viewing.
