The dubious age thing is quite common over here..

 

There was this guy that played for Levski Sofia - Richard Eromoigbe - amazing player btw, he once said he has no idea what his true age is and it could be anything between 20 and 25.

We had Garba Lawal and Justice Christopher for a while.. Lawal claimed he was 10 or so years younger and Justice was supposed to be 18, but spent the whole season injured.

This winter CSKA Sofia brought some striker from a Norwegian club - Alausa, for a trial, he scored a bunch of goals in the friendlies and claimed he was 28.. he was about to sign a contract, but failed the medical tests, because the damage in his knees indicated that he's at least 40 years old.

 

Also, there have been a couple of decent players - Niogu Demba-Nyren and Serje Iofu who just disappeared without a trace after playing a season for Levski.. Iofu was quite good and I think he became the topscorer in the bulgarian league before he disappeared.. he was later discovered in Switzerland, playing under a different name..
