David Navarro

I seem to remember Benitez trying to sign him for Liverpool the summer before the one just gone, he must of seen something in him from working with him every day to think he can be a success in the Premiership.

 

I don't remember any reputable link with Navarro tbh, his name could well have cropped up when he was available on a freebie. I'm sure he was on of about 40 central defenders we where linked with before we signed Danny Agger, cos everyone knew we where after a central defender.

 

Navarro to me is the Steven Warnock of Valencia. A local guy who is well liked, but not the best player.
