Not exactly sure how you can criticise Roeder for what turned out to be the right decision.

 

Perhaps we feel that last night's result was a fortunate one and happened in spite of Roeder's actions (or lack of them) rather than as a result of them?  Perhaps we feel that we wouldn't have had to resort to penalties, or even extra time, if Roeder could adapt to a game to ensure that we maintain an early attacking threat, in particular, having the right personnel on the field to make sure this happens?
