Still Not Worthy Of A Thread

Aye I'm the same. Spent loads of stupid ones with outrageous monsters on them. Probably my second biggest expensive from 10-13 aside from footy stickers.

Apologies to the moderators if you keep getting threads reported from me. My phone keeps throwing fits and clicking stuff by itself.

Written into the England winger’s deal is a clause stating that Arsenal must pay Saints £10,000 every time Oxlade-Chamberlain appears for more than 20 minutes.

Incredibly a trend emerged, with Wenger bringing him off the bench after 72 minutes (v Stoke), 73 minutes (Liverpool), 72 minutes (Coventry), 65 minutes (Norwich), 76 minutes (Fulham), 86 minutes (Tottenham), 67 minutes (Swansea), 73 minutes (West Ham), 71 minutes (Swansea), and 75 minutes (Reading).

Arsenal’s accounts department were stunned to receive an email from Southampton demanding payment for the appearances, with the south coast club justifying their argument based on stoppage time.

Eventually Arsenal agreed to pay for the appearances and the story worked its way around the offices at the Emirates with bafflement among staff.

Strange if true and not giggs.

Very strange clause to put in a contract if true, especially of Oxlade-Chamberlain knew about it as it would hinder his development hugely. That said those times aren't exactly out of the ordinary for a subs to be made.

Hope Powell sacked!

On a free, could be an option for Ashley.

A change was needed like. The England football team has become very stale.

As if a provision for injury time wouldn't be incorporated into the contract.

Possibly already posted elsewhere but someone at work just told me Barry Fry delivered Mackail-Smith's baby in his bathtub yesterday. Imagine JFK doing something like that?

Its not as random as you think as I'm sure I read Fry's daughter was the one giving birth (Craig Mackail-Smith's partner). Still a good story though
