Sticking points seem to be that Bankia wants senior debt status, and to have a say in how the club's run.

idle curiosity but is that a bailed out bank so under political pressure to get its money back?

Yes. Largest bailout in Spain's banking history, actually.

Iván Zamorano is in a dire financial situation. Banks have impounded most of his property, and he's still nearly €3m in the red. Apparently his investments have all gone south, mostly a sports complex he built in Santiago.

According to "As", Real Madrid will sell the naming rights to the Santiago Bernabéu to Fly Emirates. "Bernabéu" to stay part of the name.

Florentino will have a hard time getting the approval from club members, to be honest.

You have five times more points than us.

Four games into the season.

Four.

ANd i say that not in reference to where you are, but to highlight the STUPIDITY of giving a manager who has produced two years of relegation dodging with a new four year contract when he manages a decent run of FOUR games.

Insanity.

Trying to find it, but Savage's column on the BBC website where 5 key stats areas like possessions, successful passes, etc...Villa are between 18-20th.

Why bother? The only benefit would be money surely, and they have so much anyway.

interesting piece on Magath at Fulham, doesn't exactly paint a nice picture

I (and couple of other that I remember) said it when he signed that it was most probably destined for failure. He's known as a manager that has his players crying ffs  He's not normal. It was bold to have him for the relegation battle, I thought he'd be able to keep them up but long-term he would be a complete failure.
