Other clubs' transfers

Well Kevin Nolan is their manager.

The fact Nolan has played with Shola previously, means you would think he'd know Shola is shite.

Unless he only remembers him as the Mackem Slayer.

To be fair, he is only signing a short term deal for a team fighting relegation in League Two. He'll probably be restricted to sub appearances where they need to grab a goal.

If he scores two goals between now and the end of the season and it keeps them up, they'll be happy with that.

Yakubu apparently signing for Coventry. Can't believe he's only 34

That's in Nigerian years. He's probably closer to 50.

Did you say probably?

Would be a great move for Man U if they can get a big fee and his wages off the books.

The last contract they gave him was absolutely bonkers. They've done very well to get him off the books.

Already excited for the summer saga.

This is going to be the 'Pogba' transfer of the 2017 window isn't it?

It's gonna make Pogba look out of the blue!

Schweinsteiger joining Chicago Fire on a one-year deal

One of my favorite players to watch in his prime, should still have plenty left to make a difference in MLS.

One of the biggest misconceptions going these days.

Does the MLS have a slower pace of play? Absolutely. But I'd wager that more often than not, these types of players coming for a "pay day" are found out.

It's not that bad of a league. Does it compare to the EPL? Not at all. But it has it's own pace, it's own athleticism, and it makes guys like Keane and Defoe and Henry look average, considering their Premier League experience.
