I hope so too, but hope and expectation are not close neighbours.

 

If we've got a suitable replacement in mind then I guess it sounds good.

Dunno why his name keeps getting mentioned, he signed a long term contract with Watford in at the end of the summer window and we didn't want to pay what Watford wanted before he signed that.

Maybe there is a clause in his new deal, from his POV, why would he sign a new deal at Watford if PL clubs are showing interest?

No idea, but he did. No report of any clause.
