Kane is nowhere near good looking enough to fit into our style of play

That part is true.

Not sure why people are getting so excited if it’s a 6 month loan with an option and not an obligation. He will be back in the summer

Honestly wouldn't want him. His style doesn't fit ours at all in any way, shape or form and he isn't good enough to build our whole team around. Kane plays as a traditional 10, minus the forward runs onto through balls almost flatly refusing to tie up the opposition defence. To play him, we would need to be comfortable that Miggy and the other winger wouldn't have anyone ahead of them and that Bruno and Jur would have to be careful that they didn't bump onto him during the build up phase.

I can't see him adopting the press either, and I'd imagine that he'd sulk being surrounded by other players that the fans love more than him. I'd much rather we brought a proper 9 (not necessarily a target man) that gave the midfield something to work with.

No thank you.

Kane does exactly what you are saying he doesn't. He drops deep and ties up defenders to allow runners (Saka at the world cup) either side of him.

Are we actually at the stage of turning our noses up at the prospect of Harry Kane? ?. He is one of the best players in the world.

Any replacement would likely enhance our reasonable chances of finishing top 4 and in the league cup.

If he comes back in the summer he’ll only have 12 months left on his contract with his. There’s no way he’d stay for that time, imo- the club would want rid for the wages and a little money back, and I reckon the man himself would prefer some actual game time elsewhere before he retires.

Haaland would disrupt our style. We can do better.

Mbappe on loan with no obligation to buy maybe

Kane would be a fine 3rd striker like.

Is it that much of an upgrade? Chris Wood is much better on penalties like

All I know is if we had Kane we would still be in the fa cup.

It's pretty par for the course here TBF. Instead of having a debate about whether Kane would fit into our system, people just go for lazy personal attacks. It's pretty boring, but there are a couple of posters who you can have a conversation with, so I just ignore those who seek validation by parroting what the majority are saying without actually saying anything.

No fault of yours for posting absolutely bizarre shit. It's all on us. You described pretty much the anti-particle of Harry Kane.

Isn’t he on £100k a week, even getting that off the wage bill for six months is decent but hopefully he’ll be a good fit for Forest and they’ll make him a permanent fixture

Skimmed the thread and now I'm gonna be mad as shit if we don't sign Kane

Sign him and plonk him in the reserves so he can't break Shearer's record

Best of luck to him if he goes. Came at a time we were desperate and even though he didn't score many goals he definitely helped with our relegation battle and had a part to play in where we are today.

Not good enough for us but I hope he succeeds at Forrest.

Not wanting Kane is a pretty incredible take like.

He's the best English striker of his generation and very likely to go on and break the PL goalscoring record which has stood for 17 years, so turning your nose up at him whilst he's still in his prime is somewhat bold. I love Wilson, but Kane would be an instant upgrade on him in almost every way and would take our forward play to another level.

Not that there's a cat in hell's chance we sign him, but that's another story.

Kane would be incredible and insane. Im down with him breaking Shearers record if he does it with us lol. No way he leaves Spurs for us though.
