That Adam Hurrey guy from Twitter recently made a Spotify playlist of all this, called 'Here We Goooo, Here We Go! Here We Go, Here We Go, Here We Go, Here We Go, This Is It!'

Lucho set to take over again as Spain manager.

Looks like Moreno is going to be sacked which honestly (as unconsistent as Spain has been under him) seems a bit harsh. They should have appointed him as merely a caretaker isntead of giving him the job full time, if getting Lucho back was always the plan (maybe it wasn't).

Reading the comments, I see Liverpool did this regularly particularly during the 80s.

Ended Grobbelaar before the match fixing did

Edit: bringing in the backpass rule, that is.

To think this was possible for over 100 years.

 Played in nets for a seven-a-side team when I was about 10/11 and you were allowed to pick up a backpass. Our manager made it a main tactic for us on the counter - break up play, knock it back to me and I'd hoof it up into the space for our striker who was rapid.

Proper shithousery.

Like Fifa, the organisers of the league/tournament banned it.

The whole thing has been shambolically managed which is classic by the Spanish FA.

They claim that Moreno himself wanted to resign to give way but later backpedalled. He'll give his version one his contract is resolved. My default position is that the Spanish FA are lying out of their arse, as usual.
