Assumed there must have been new info. Anyway, with experience on board now in Cacapa Allardyce may not bother. I thought this deal had died too but i may be wrong who knows: "There has been wide speculation that Edmilson will be moving to Newcastle United FC of the English Premier League for a nominal fee and that he has already 'agreed in principle' to join the Tyneside outfit. 13th July 2007, Edmilson agrees a deal proposed to him by Newcastle United. The transfer will go through on 1st January 2008 once the transfer window re-opens and Edmilson is reported fully fit after his latest knee operation."
