Quick update. He's joined a different team now, one which seems less focussed on results and more focussed on enjoyment. Proper family feel to the club too. He's only been there a few weeks but it finally seems to have clicked with him about what he's supposed to do. He's got a lovely turn on him out of nowhere, and is really starting to understand the concept of moving into space and asking for a pass. Reckon he's gonna be the next Joelinton as he's awful at shooting, but his tackling and hold up play is suddenly really good

I think it's fairly obvious that it's accepted Wood is going to be playing a lot this season. Joelinton and ASM are the backups for Wilson and Wood. Who here claimed we could finish top 6?

I’m not necessarily worried, I said yesterday that I’d take 11th with a good cup run. I’m just saying I doubt anyone on here is worried about how much we spend, just the players we bring in. Nobody is saying we need to spend £500m or whatever, a couple if good loan signings would be more than enough. We do however have two strikers in the squad. One of whom is likely to get injured and the other is utter shite. Can’t see the cup run happening anytime soon.

I don’t fully agree with that. It’s based on looking at who is in our squad rather than how much we’ve spent. if we’d got Ekitike then I’m sure nobody would be worried.
