Great, somebody else has finally realised that about a quarter of all corners fail to beat the first man, and it would actually be somewhat beneficial to put a player in front of the defender to flick the ball on or pass it back. But why do no managers or coaches seem to pick up on this?

Makes sense if he goes there on loan in January, which is a real possibility. He is doing nothing for us at the moment even if he should be playing more.

I generally thought he was very sloppy in posession until the final 10 minutes, when like the rest of our team he became a different player. For someone who has a lot of ability when he is on the ball, he gives the ball away so much with poor passes.

Should be interesting to hear his thoughts on the game and our situation.
