    Not worried in the slightest.  We could have 5 signings lined up or all we know.  The media are either ignorant or liars most of the time, and when we do get someone in it will come out of the blue no doubt.

     

    I'm confident that Keegan, Ashley, Wise & co. have enough sense to know that we need big changes and are planning accordingly.  And I'm also confident that they are grown men and not squabbling teenagers, and that any differences in transfer policy will be resolved amicably in the best interests of the club. 

     

    I'm enjoying the European Championships, enjoying my summer and reserving all worry and angst until at least August.  Newcastle ruin enough weekends during the season, don't get wound up during the summer too.

    Linked again With Gudjohnsen...The article says that Toon boss Kevin Keegan wants Gudjohnsen to replace Obafemi Martins, who is surplus to requirements. Fuckin hell  :lol:

     

    It also has Liverpool offering £10 million for Milner. :iamatwat:

    I could easily see Arsenal getting in there if Villa's available, maybe Man Utd too.  And that's just in England. 

     

    It will be interesting to see if Berbatov stays though.  I reckon that in in the interests of staying competitive with our main rivals we should publicize a massive 20-25 million bid and play the stalking horse on Berbatov.  Like we did with Rooney.  Get him on the market and make them spend big to replace him.

    I wish we'd start getting linked with attacking central midfielders instead of strikers.

     

    we need both to be honest

     

    We'd be far better off going into next season with Owen, Martins & Viduka than with Butt, Geremi & Barton (if he even makes parole). 

    I take your point...we could do with replacing Viduka with a target man...but we desperately need midfielders whereas a new striker would be a secondary priority.
