you would think that we played like Barca this season and this was just a game off by some in here. This game was not just one of it kind, in fact we played this poor in a lot of games, even when we have won. and that is why people, like me, are upset.

I like the idea to not have a goal camera it just slows down the game to much. just as clear goal as the england in the world cup.

we weren´t good the first half either. it was just that we scored and they didn´t, and that was NOT a result of good play from us.

worst player at the pitch and worst performance I ever seen from him. cost us the games. didn´t do anything right. him and Simpson man.

The most frustrating thing is that our players don't move and create options for a pass. The way it looked was as if they were afraid of giving away space for a counter attack so to me the blame has to lie at Pardew's door for instilling this negative mindset in to our players.

 

Yep, the off the ball movement is awful. It's bothered me for a long time, we just don't pass and move it in a lively way like a normal football team.

and it´s not like it´s just this game you can name about 10 games were we been a disgrace. and the way I see it. if you have a good manager and a manager that likes to play football the players will play better. today it looked like they never seen a football.

again. the players were poor - yes. but Pardews way of playing and setting up the team is a fucking disgrace. this is not a question of playing ben arfa or not. it´s about playing proper football.

Saw the game. Not super close because I was trying to keep up with some other games Anyway. I would´t say that I was overly impressed with him. he hoofed the balls out of play a few times and for example got skinned for the second goal in the end. Though. He seems to be an absolutly beast and great ledare. Definitly remindes me of Samba. So for £5m. Hmm. mayby we should give him a chance

Bit confused by some of the sentiment on here favouring Brighton. In normal circumstances yes, but for the benefit of us we need the Bin Dippers in the next round.

Seems like europe is going to be tough if we dont finish 4th or 5th. Tottenham is the only team left in the FA-cup that´s for sure is going to finish above us. Then we have Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool left. Guess I will support Chelsea then...

For me "good football" is just as much about entertaining the fans as minimaxing the oporunites for the oppoinent. If you can control the ball you will stop the other team to create chances and we dont have to sit through games like Wolves (a), Blackburn (a) and Villa (h) etc.
