We just have to buy him. Seems to really want to be here and as good as Gervhino. It would be studied to not .
-
If Allardyce does sign Smith, I think I may actually cry out of joy.
-
I can only assume Ranger is more trouble than he is worth. £1m and his crappy wages are hardly going to make much of a dent in our budget.
-
So we want to ship Ranger out was the big "shocking" transfer news. Ok, I can live with that. But a little bit unnecessary to hype it this much...
Now, bring in Gervinho.

The Mirror thinks he might get the Cardiff job.
Would like that very much, hoping for that
Would really much want him in the game again. but rather not in the PL because then he would face us and it would hurt to see him for another team...
-
Think he will be off, like. Maybe not to Liverpool but he will, can't see Ashley letting him leave on a free next summer, especially if someone is waving some £s in his face. Gosling and Capaye as well, Barton is by no means a given starter anymore, good season or not.
agree. though, he would be a good squad player...
-
Well, at least he know how to hit Carrolls head with long balls...
-
"Definitely. Cabaye in the bag. Reckon Gervinho will sign: Gameiro a distinct possibility. Statement of intent"

Sounds pretty optimistic.
:colo: :omg:

Can't believe his clause was so low. Come on NUFC finalise this - top, top player.
Theres a link to an article on Football.fr on his wiki saying this:
Yohan Cabaye has a release clause of 75 million euros in his contract that expires in 2013 with the LOSC. But it seems increasingly understood that this hope will leave his French club trainer this summer for a sum between 10 and 20 million euros.
€5m is insanely low for him and a fantastic deal if true.
-
sub Cabaye for Shola tbh when happens
-
SIGN THE FUCKING CONTRACT
-
oh yeah!
Think it´s true.
-
Jose was never re-signing once AC went the club gained a lot of dosh that day but it looked like it lost a lot ambition as far as some players & fans were concerned imo.
and I think that is a little bit weird, tbh.

Nolan and Barton are as good as gone.
Sad for them.
-
£10m or he can stay one year more, especially if it is a English club. if it is a club outside England I would be content with £6m+
-
Exepct Willie McKay, I think the problem is that two worlds is colliding, so to speak.
Barton signed his contract pre Ashley and it´s obvious the wages he, Smith and Colo etc are way over that limit. New players wont get that kined of money. If they want more we want get them. This is the main problem. Expect the idiot agent Wille McKay.
-
Still a better option then Harper.
-
Good. Hope is true. But then I don´t trust Pardew a bit.
-
Good post.
So. Is he going to sign or not?
-
So what is he supposed to do then, mean, is he going to challenge for the first team or is it only the reserve team? What is the clubs hope for him in the future.
-
The situation has arisen because of the Carroll sale. After that, none of the players can be sure that the club won't ship out the core of the squad, and are more apprehensive of it than they might have been if the Carroll sale hadn't happened. Nolan is in that core. He is without a doubt one of our most important players, at least this season, and the players most likely view him as an important player for next season.
yeah, but everyone make it sound like we are the only club in the world that has sold a key player. Come on. It happens all the time. Of course you are aloud to debate it and questioning it, but it should make the whole squad want to leave.
-
Think Barton is starting to push it a little bit to far for my liking. The last few months both off and on the field has made that I don´t like him as much as the first half of the season. I´m very disappointed with him.
Which youngster are you most excited about for the future?
