Its a very fair comment. I think most deep down acknowledge the price is too good to be true and must be fuelling an industry with dodgy dealings. However, it's a case of people putting that to the back of their mind as the real merch is just unaffordable. Certainly not a great way to approach it I admit.
I mean, that suggests that buying from a legitimate source doesn’t fuel an/several industries with dodgy dealings.
I spent about a grand on random merch and shit this/last season. For now I’m getting the new kit for the kids from a snider. Mostly cos I feel less need to buy legit given it’s not the first year of adidas, and the shirt is meh.

The home kit isn’t exactly miles from Fulhamness like

What happened to the US Soccer thread? Your boys are taking a beating. 4-0 down at home to Switzerland.

That looks like it would struggle to stay on John Cena's arm
Well everyone knows you can't C John Cena.

I mean, as much as the price of these things is insane, they're just heat transferring on the patches pre-shipment. It's relatively inevitable that some fail.

He's home grown still right? Basically a freebie.
At one point I trawled for NUFC homegrown players we could bring in. All I got was Krul and tumbleweed.

Haven't we already seen our first warmup/training shit? With the weird yellow/orange fluorescent bits.

I was going to say that the lad is a northern boy and he might be happier to stay up norf, but when wikitrawling, I saw that according to some 10 year old article... he's a Chelsea fan.
https://www.timesandstar.co.uk/sport/17030219.james-12-signs-for-mega-rich-man-city/
"His pals at Cockermouth School threw a surprise leaving party when he opted to sign for City, while the 12-year-old - a Chelsea fan - says he is undaunted by the big move."

Isn't it unfair on the keeper if the player manages some dodgy double kick that completely changes the course of the ball? I was fine with the existing rule. If someone slips, they slip. You don't get a retake if you twat it over the bar cos you slipped.
And if someone scuffs the spot up they should be punished for it.

Surely that’s just not “nufc” lettering, they’ll have prem numbers. It's free personalization from Mike Ashley. It's probably Man City's cup font from this season.

Free personalisation too."Please note that the name and number is not the official lettering."

I'm slightly aghast at that being used as an example of a good collar. Reminds me of the authentic 3rd kit from this season with it's pointless flappy bits that lead to nowhere.

Could be lots of reasonsHe wants to play in the Premier League
He fancies moving to a new country / city
He fucking hates Barca
The Job Bulman
Not everyone sees the world through the same eyes that one sees the world
Sure, but I'm playing the odds. He could fucking hate the sight of the sun between November and January, in which case Newcastle would be a great choice, but the odds aren't great.

Genuinely hope he goes there over a will he, won’t he summer again. Parish despises us and Guehi has clearly not made any major moves to try and push to come to us
Was Parish dealing with Mitchell though? Maybe Eddie can have a word and fluff Parish a little / throw Mitchell under the bus. Sign Guehi for a tenner and a handy.

I suppose I get it, but it just seems far fetched that a 24 year old living in his home city, with the potential to stay there and sign for Barca would be like nah son I'm gan to Wallsend.
I get not wanting to be 2nd choice, but Ter Stegen was fucked basically the entire season, no? Maybe the Barca brass think he has a limited shelf life.
IDK. Unless Newcastle come in with double the wages, I'm signing for Barca.
-
Without knowing a single thing about this lad, why in the fuck would he come to Newcastle rather than not moving house and signing for one of the most successful clubs in European history?
I'm assuming money is the answer, but it still seems like a stretch.

For any 'muricans, the fans SS shirt is $100 on Adidas.com rather than $120 on the club shop.

There or West Ham, where he'd be starting every week, would be best for his development.
“West Ham or Everton would be best for his development”Just read that back for a second and let it sink in. Neither team has developed anyone of note since the 90s. Ish.

Bruno is wearing the replica short sleeve in that video
Aye just noticed that. Gives me a little more hope, but still doesn't make a huge deal of sense that we'd see SS Auth & Replica, LS just Replica, if the Authentic existed. We'll see.. fingers crossed.
