Can't wait for football again, saw match of the day mentioned earlier and it took 7 minutes of thinking about my Nan's hairy chin for the erection to go down.

Does anyone know if Ben Arfa had a fixator (cage like thing) on his leg? And if so, is there any pictures?

Pardew also revealed he is learning from his experiences as boss.
He added: “As a younger manager at West Ham and Reading, I changed a lot of staff.
“In hindsight, while it worked well, I did not need to do that.
“The staff here are great. I am not looking to change anything with the staff here.”
Pleased to hear this. I don't see why new managers always want to bring in all their own staff. They might have a great relationship with them but maybe that ends up being too cosy and familiar and so they don't get so much opportunity to embrace new ideas or different coaching techniques.
Told you, he's learning from past mistakes
In other words he's been told that he's not allowed change the whole staff for probably two reasons. Firstly, the cost. Secondly, he may not be here for the long haul depending on results.

Low scoring draw.

I have to wear my AC9 shirt to 5-a-side later today. Only football shirt I've got. The stick I'm going to get is going to be unbearable...
Get out your iron and peel the name and number off.

Connor Wickham anyone?
Yeah.
-
If he signs long-term, takes a pay cut and keeps out of trouble, then all is forgiven with me. Becoming a proper class player for us.
Aye, I love him.
-
€25 on us and City as a double..

Pleased with the side. To some of us (older fans), the FA Cup is still very important- some young'uns just don't understand.
Totally agree, amazing how people are calling the FA cup a luxury. It used to be bigger than the league years back.
It most definitely is not anymore. I understand the importance of the cup, but I know the greater importance of staying in the league.
-
I hope it doesn't take a serious injury to Barton or Colo etc for people to realise their importance...
-
There's 8 days until the derby man!
not the point mate, as it stands barton nolan and colo would almost definitely play in that match (barring a freak training ground injury) playing today puts that in doubt. i guess it comes down to what you value more, perosnally i think we'd have enough to win it without those 3, put them on the bench and bring them on at half time if needed imo. i'd just rather be 3 points closer to safety and beat the mackems than be in the 4th round of the cup, i dont think they're mutually exclusive, but ya na.
Correct.
Spot on.

'This luxury'. We're not going to qualify for Europe, we're not going down, give this a shot man!
Here here.
I wasn't talking about us specifically. The likes of Wolves etc who are in a very dangerous league position should not be wasting their time with this cup.
I'd love to see us go far, I really would but at the expense of even 3 points? No, not this year anyway.
-
Least we taking it seriously, unlike quite a few premiership clubs (those who put out weakened teams should be fined heavily).
If this is not a joke, then fuck off. Let people worry about the league and not this luxury.
-
Should not be playing Simpson, Colo or Barton.
-
 Those pictures. I love how they seem like a genuine group of mates, not just co-workers.
This is the reason why we are doing so well. Unreal team spirit.
-
I love these games. I love these guys.
This. I love the team.

Rodney Marsh on 5 Live earlier claimed Tevez is on £286k per week.
After tax.
And he wanted an improved contract? Mama Mia.
Did he?
Thought he said it's not about money? It's about promises that weren't kept? If true, imagine how fucked he'd be having any involvement with the Ashley era!
The other games today - 2011/12
