The league are implementing big changes. All the teams have to be fully professional and employ a, for woman's football at this level, fairly extensive staff (with set positions - e.g. team doctor, Director of Football etc.) It's linked to the Championship becoming WSL2 (as an attempt to bring a more professional structure to woman's football ... separate from the men's club (if attached to one) / the men's governing body). Blackburn have claimed they don't have the money to do it. Members of Blackburn's woman's team, supported by many others in the woman's game and our own players, have publicly called 'bullshit' on it.

The passing for the second goal was great. Lumsden's third was a corker. Missed Hayle's first. Against lesser opposition but it's good to see them score more freely.

I'd agree. Well on top but the defending on the two goals, and in general, had been poor. Both their wingers are getting in / past our defenders with ease. Defenders thinking they have much more time than they do, being passed / run past too easily, poor positioning. Also, we really need to buy someone who can play in the box / take a long shot that isn't a weak one into the keeper's hands.
