I think this. The policy on promotion, so far, has been to recruit new players who could win that new division if they jell / play well-enough. I think we’ll do the same again - i.e. not just ‘buy’ the division (especially due to all the comments about wanting to go up the ‘right way’, unlike Manchester United). It means we would be unlikely to struggle, like Palace, though we’d be just as unlikely to find it easy.

I think that's what NewCo is supposed to do. Whether it works; who knows?

It's all speculation. Only JonBez comesock will know the answer and I don't expect (or want) him to make a comment on it. The only hints are it's not 'huge'. However, players who were not professional have given up full-time jobs when they became professional. The speculated figure is close to a PC's wage and, as far as I recall, this is the type of job given up. I know people will be prepared to give up money to 'follow a dream' but people still have to live. As I said, it's all speculation anwyay and people spilling the beans on money always have vested interests (good or bad).

Which I'd make but I am disabled as well. Sadly, it's to do with movement or I'd make the journey. Even 100m is a chore. Am there in spirit, though, as I've been connected to the woman / children's game for decades. Enjoy it.
