  1. Time for Pedro to go too? His record as a coach is poor and there have been lots of stories of former youth players having nothing good to say about him. I wonder what Rafa thinks of him as a coach.

  2. Anyone think Rafa will look to freshen up and strengthen the coaching teams at under 23 and academy level at the end of the season if we go up?

It's good that he's giving the current staff a chance, but years of under investment surely leave a few opportunities for recruitment? I could see him making a similar move to when he brought in Rodolfo Borrell from Barca's academy at Liverpool.

Really excited to see what Rafa does and I've got 100% confidence he'll do what's needed.

  3. My interest in the club's fortunes is on the line. Rafa stays then I can really get behind it. Bring some fucking clown like Steve Bruce in then I'm done.

We've got to do everything possible to convince Rafa to stick with us.

  4. Anyone up for starting an online 'petition' asking/begging Rafa to stay? If if gets enough signatories then he'll surely be made aware of it. Just an idea.

  5. Would rather have a pacy wing/forward type in the Remy mould like.

If we're keeping Cisse, I don't think we need Austin, especially not at £12m+

Tap him up and sign him on a free next summer once Cisse has gone ;-)

  6. Ask them to clarify their position regarding the cups as after initially clearly saying they would try to win "a" cup there seems to be a bit of a muddying of waters by none other than Bob Moncur that seem to suggest they will only really try in the FA Cup and still not treat the League Cup seriously.

"McClaren has been tasked with guiding Newcastle back into the upper reaches of the Barclays Premier League table, while challenging for success in one of the cup competitions."

  7. Could anyone possibly have done a worse job than Carver to date? Does anyone realistically think he can get any better? What would he need to do to not get the job permanently?

For those supporters that still attend games, what would need to happen to make you stop?

I gave up my season ticket last season and I won't step foot in the ground again until Ashley f***s off.

I went to the games with my old man who's getting on a bit and the thought that we might never go to another match together fuels my hatred of this regime.

I'd go so far as to say that Ashley is actually ruining lives. All in the name of profit, and for a man that is already a billionaire. Disgusting man.
