My main issue with this appointment is that where it the summer and he was given this squad I think he is more than capable of keeping it up. However I’m not sure that he’s the man to come in now in our current position and first claw back the 6 points and then keep us up from there.
The caulkin article says he impressed them with his idea of who to target in the January window and how he could work with Jones. And they where also impressed because he has worked with Wilson, Ritchie and Fraser before.
After the last 24 hours and initial disappointment, if it’s Howe they want then let’s go and get him make sure he is in for Monday and hope he can perform a miracle with these lot.
Be easier to get behind him if he’s bringing in coaches with him and the Steve’s get binned we need a complete we set of voices.
Unfortunately Jones is already staying.
I meant hope in terms of this season, as in staying up. As I’ve said previously I will get right behind Howe (if it is him) and hope he can pull it off. Still don’t think fans should be criticised for not being happy with his appointment.
I think most are just underwhelmed that after 3/4 weeks it seems it will be Eddie Howe. It’s got nothing to do with expecting big names at all just someone who can give us a bit of hope tbh.
Fair point I just think we are that poor the extra week could prove key considering the games coming up and the need to get at least 7 points from them
