Rangers & Celtic for me. Their fans have got nothing better to do at matches than sing about things that happened 400 years ago. Shower of bigots. The sooner they bugger off to the Premiership or any other league that takes them the better.

I think beckham would be a mistake. He's just looking for someplace where he can get back into the England team and get up to 100 caps. Once he's done that he won't bother his arse. Hope he signs for Ceptic so I can hurl abuse at him when he comes to Tannadice . We've not had a good hate figure up here since Gazza played for Rankgers.

Dundee Utd tried to get him on loan before the transfer window closed in return for Lee Miller. The deal fell through because Hearts didn't want Miller. Mole doesn't get a regular game at Tynecastle (although Ivanauskas puts out a different starting 11 every week). From what i've seen he's a decent prospect but nowhere near ready for the premiership yet. Think Newcastle missed the boat big time when DUFC sold Mark Wilson (RB/RWB) to Celtic for 500k - steal of the century and would have easily been in the team ahead of fatty Carr.

We had similar problems at Dundee United a few years ago when fans wanted the chairman (Jim McLean) out. It started off with protests outside the ground but these always seemed to descend into a rammy of drunken teenage idiots getting lifted and trying to look hard in front of their mates. A supporters group was then formed called (you guessed it) United for Change. They had an elected secretary, spokesman, fundraiser etc and eventually managed to oust the chairman and buy shares in the club. This is the kind of organisation required if you really want to make a difference - you're taking on a powerful guy and if you don't do things professionally, he'll walk all over you. A word of warning though, Dundee United have gone right downhill ever since.

Genius IMO. Done just about all that could have been realistically expected with Liverpool and more. They've not challenged for the title for years so I think its time for their fans to wise up. They've not got the money/pulling power to attract the top name players that Chelsea/Man Utd can. Benitez won La Liga with an unfashionable side and won the CL with a team thats been crap for years. Give him a break, scousers.

I'm not really up to speed on the politics of all this but as an outsider looking in there seems to be a lot of talk about what you don't want - Shepherd in charge. Easy to say what you're fighting against, not so easy to say what you're fighting for. What are the alternatives? Has anybody else put themselves forward for the chairman's post? I can understand everybody's frustration but unless a credible alternative is on the table then all of this is rather pointless.
