  1. Haha.

That list of criminal activities is not too clever really. Seems a bit of a bad lad.

That's one way of putting it.  Personally i'd say he's a fucking idiot.

But fighting in pubs and getting off with lassies in public toilets is one thing.  There'll be a fair few of us on here who'll tick those boxes.  Rape is a different thing altogether so i wouldn't read too much into his record.

I don't really know where i stand on this because obviously i wasn't there when it happened so i don't know.  I'm getting a bit concerned about him always being in the wrong place at the wrong time though.  Can anybody be that unlucky?

I don't know what to believe but it's probably fair to say that i'm getting sick fed up of him.

  2. I always thought "reckless" was just a yellow according to the guidance FIFA give referees.  Red is usually for "use of excessive force".  Anyway, it's just words.  I thought it was a good tackle but then i'm old fashioned.  It'll be upheld because sending players off for that sort of tackle is flavour of the month just now.  It looked a lot worse than it was but referees don't know any better.

  3. Not sure the money will be used to buy anyone!

They tried to use it to sign Goodwillie earlier today but were promptly told where to go.

We need someone to score goals. Maybe Boro will let Kris Boyd come back

    You've got Beattie

  4. Clicked on this story with the accompanying picture on BBC http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/scot_prem/9336457.stm

That photo of him man, can't even do his belt properly never mind run a league.

Geoff Broon obviously got his fair share of free biscuits then,

Scottish football died today tbh.  That's it finished now.  All over.  I'm just glad i've got a fairly nearby English team to support.

  5. Victim of his reputation yesterday.  The way all their players tried to turn it into a mass brawl didn't help.  If that's any other player then it's play on.

I was at the Aberdeen v Dundee Utd game on Saturday and our full-back put in a similar tackle on the Aberdeen lad who got a broken ankle but it was a good tackle and the referee rightly gave a throw-in.

Nothing wrong with a good strong challenge as long as your sole focus is for the ball and you get it.

  6. He did that full-back about 4 times with the same trick!  I thought he was good when he came on.  No end product but with Shola tiring and eventually subbed hitting long balls was gonna be a waste of time so we needed a wide outlet and he provided that.  Helped keep us up their end of the park and out of trouble.

"If you're looking for passion then it's here. There is great support. The fans and the passion are very good here"

He reads the match reports and believes the attendance figures doesn't he?

Has nobody told him that they count season ticket holders who don't turn up in their attendance figures?  Has nobody told him that half the bigots live in Belfast and don't bother getting the ferry when the team are doing shite?  Has nobody told him that 40,000 actually means 20,000?

He's in for a shock.  Silly laddie.

  8. Has Freddie Ljungberg had a press conference yet to say "Ever since i was a wee boy Celtic was the only team i ever wanted to play for" ?  That line usually gets the deluded, insular, monobrowed, "i support Celtic so they must be the only team in the world that anybody gives two f***s about" retards creaming their nickers.

I saw him basically saying that in the US they don't give a s*** about the sport and he missed people who care.

How he can say that when he played for Seattle is quite baffling. They are the closest to a 'serious' MLS club and their fans are second to none.

What will he make of the self-styled Greatest Fans In The World (when they're winning) then?

Oooo, that's him right aff David Beckham's christmas card list.

  11. He pretty much saved Celtic from finishing 3rd last season but he was effectively just an overpaid seal-clubber in our league.  I've not seen enough of him in the EPL over the last 18 months to really judge.

    Can he still run much?

Tbh a lot of the goals i saw him score for Celtic were poachers goals.  The old firm tend to have the opposition pinned back for most of the game so there's not the same need for a pacey striker to score on the break.  I have to say though i was a lot more impressed with Craig Bellamy when he was at Celtic but that was a few years back.
