We finished 7th this season while being no higher then 7th on both of those criteria.

Look at it this way. We'd be lucky to lose by one goal in December-January. We were near relegation form. And we still ended up with 60 points and a +23 GD. We are on the up.

Yeah, I suspect that we are going to have a barnstorming one. Ended the season on a relatively high note when it looked fairly grim a few months ago. Big summer ahead, but I think this was a very useful lesson for the club. We're in good hands.

+23 GD and finishing 7th, despite that December-January run. Not bad at all.

There's been some amazing games and there's been some abysmal ones. It is what it is. The business is absolutely ruthless. Just look at other clubs in the country.

 

I'm certain if we can keep injuries at bay and shift some of the deadwood in the squad, he will have a truly excellent season again. Time will tell.
