Do them selling Branthwaite for £60m + this summer not just sort them out? With FFP anyway, I’m aware of the other issues.
-
Getting the Lloyd Kelly free transfer signing wrapped up seems like a bit of a no brainer now. Kelly plus another right sided CB signing with already having extended Lascelles would be sufficient.

Loads of teams do a one off friendly or even a small end of season tour, I'm not sure what all the fuss is about. It's just a marketing exercise.
-
With Livramento being the long term answer at right back could we see him pushing forward to supply the width, the right sided CM of 3 covering slightly deeper with Gordon then drifting into a 10 position allowing another perhaps Barnes to play the left of the forward line?

Where's the idea that Ashworth was here to have a big say in recruitment came from anyway? Didn't he say it his first lot of interviews that he's basically here to be a link between all departments making sure they're running as best as they can, be that the Women's team or someone being out on loan and having an issue.

I would love to catch them but I don’t think we will. We’ll do well to finish within 3 points of them imo.
Given that we’re 10 points away from them as it stands I’d say we’d do very well to finish within 3 points.

Hasn't the Hall clause been widely reported that it's an obligation to buy based on us not being relegated?

Whats happened to Kvaratskhelia? Probably not worth half the fee quoted last year.
Just scored an absolute belter.

It would be nice to sign a £20m 30 year old who is already an established star in a position we need, just because we can afford it without worrying about the sell on fee. That's how Man City became perennial CL stalwarts within a couple of years.
It took them 3 years to qualify for the Champion League after their takeover without any FFP restrictions. Off the top of my head I can't really think of these 30 year old they were signing for that amount of money, we spent it on Chris Wood 3 months after a takeover.

It’s completely taken the excitement out of transfer windows for me.
Yeah signing multiple £40m players in the past year has been a real bore.

We lost 9 away games in 02/03 & finished 3rd, just putting the bad away record into perspective.

Where's this awful idea of calling Liverpool 'Pool' came from & can it please stop?

Michael Beale apparently, would rather Ian.

Aye he came on in the last 5 minutes. If we didn’t want to keep him and the obligation is appearance based - that doesn’t make sense.
Exactly, just more people making up more stories to suit a narrative they've created in their head.
-
Didn't he literally just play in our last league game?

Thought he wound the clock back last night and that I was watching Shola Ameobi the way he was disinterestingly ambling around the place. If he's crocked he shouldn't be playing because he's been a waste of a shirt the last few games, and if it's an attitude problem he needs a kick up the arse. There's a lot of them clearly running on empty atm but at least they're still putting the effort in.
Interesting take

Played the group stages of the Champions League with a team made up with a large number of players previously not considered good enough for the Premier League.

Trippier was injured and Gordon missed training yesterday.

Think some people are forgetting how well Burn did alongside Schar in the second half of the 21/22 season.
-
Honestly think that prior to the mistake for the 1st goal it was going to end up 0-0, that then sucked any life out of us and caused the other goals. Move on.
-
Sometimes takes a while after a defeat to realise this place isn't real life & thankfully Howe it's taking tips from it.

Does being an Adidas elite club mean we'll have long sleeved shirt options?

A reminder - this manager arrived a year and two weeks ago, and took a team that was 17th, and only not 18th on goal difference and turned it into this.
sounds familiar -
